The  menu at Seasons 52 changes every quarter, with the seasons. There are only a few days left for the winter menu. We enjoyed the Grilled Venison Chop with Mushroom Ragout with truffle mashed potatoes. The New Zealand venison chop had a great flavor and was not too gamey. The sauce complimented the meat very well. The mushroom ragout and potatoes were excellent.

This delightful entree with the sides was $24.95. Venison is hard to find in Florida restaurants and is often more expensive.  New Zealand venison is farm raised.

This dish is available for a few more days until their menu changes for the spring season.

Tiramisu of Boca serves up fantastic and unique Italian Cuisine that features modern European and American culinary techniques. Tiramisu is now under new management in a new location. The restaurant is closed on Monday’s and open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner.  Check out their website for their dinner specials. Tiramisu does offer 3 course Fall Specials served before 6:30pm. Lite music is played in the background to set a calm dining mood.

Zagat rated, this charming, warm and romantic restaurant features a full bar, wines and beers from around the world. The inside is very quant and elegant. Each dish is prepared to order and to perfection with a nice presentation. My husband and I were there on a Saturday night around 7pm. It was busy, but not crowded.  We were seated right away with our reservation and had excellent service. The owner of the restaurant also introduced himself and made sure we were being taken care of to our satisfaction.  Everything is a la carte. We both ordered martinis and the onion soup to start. Both were delicious. I had the trout for my entree and my husband had the snapper dish. Both were very tasty and fresh. We ended with sharing a cheese cake dessert with fruit topping.

We enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere and look forward to coming back to try their other dinner dishes. It is a great place for a special occasion or a holiday gathering with family.

California Pizza Kitchen is a fun and casual place to have different types of pizza and other dishes.  Great for families and gatherings of all ages. They have regular and thin crust pizza, small cravings, appetizers, salads, soups, kids menus, pastas, tacos, and delicious desserts. New items are featured on their website as well as at their locations. California Pizza Kitchen started in Beverly Hills California in 1985 and has expanded globally since. They are involved with fundraisers. CPK does offer catering for parties and has some dishes in the grocery store.

I was at the Boca Raton location in the Town Center Mall last Sunday for a late lunch with my husband. It was busy, even at that time.  There is also a bar that was almost filled.  We only waited a few minutes for a table and got taken care of right away. We ordered two of the small cravings which are smaller portion appetizers. One was a Arugula and Asparagus Salad. The other was the Korean Barbeque Steak Tacos. Both were tasty. Then we ordered a thin crust Roasted Artichoke and Spinach Pizza to share. The pizza was fresh, light, and very tasty.

This location was convenient for us as we were already shopping in the mall. There are so many choices that I look forward to trying their other pizzas and dishes as well.

5 -Spice has a nice casual atmosphere and is a great place for a moderate lunch or dinner.  It is a convenient place for business professionals working in the area to have a healthy meal.  5 Spice also has catering, delivery, and takeout services available. They are located in a outside shopping mall off of Yamato Road just west of I-95.

5-Spice Asian Street Market wants to  bring to America hidden culinary treasures from different regions of Asia with uncompromising authenticity and quality, in a warm and inviting atmosphere capturing the essence of the street markets of the Far East.  It is important to 5-Spice to serve well-balanced foods, healthy enough to leave you full of energy, spicy enough to harmonize with your body, and tasty enough to keep you returning time and time again.

My husband and I went to 5-Spice for lunch during the week and it was busy. The menu is varied and the portions are large. The food is fresh and tasty. I ordered the half-pound chicken flame-roasted meal and my husband ordered the half-pound duck flame-roasted meal.  Both meals come with two sides and a spice roll. We also ordered their specialty bubble green tea. It was nice and smooth. I had never had it before.

Next time I will want to try the noodle soup bowls and the rice bowls. 5-Spice is great for ordering larger family meals as well. There is also a separate kids menu. I would recommend trying this restaurant for a different experience. Looking forward to returning again soon for lunch or for dinner.

At Six Tables restaurant, dinner guests are served a memorable and delicious five course, prix fix meal in their comfortable quant dining room with only six tables! Each table can be arranged to accommodate a party of two, four, six or up to 10 people for your dining comfort. Six Tables is open for dinner only, by reservation only with two seating times, most Tuesday through Saturday nights.

The Boca Raton location is near Mizner Park and has been there for over seven years. We had the 7:00pm seating on a Saturday night. There were two other couples there at that time. You are encouraged to be there on time to benefit  most from the experience. It is a great place for a romantic quiet dinner for two or a larger party for a family celebration or company event.   All locations are independently owned and operated. The other Florida locations are in Tampa, Gulfport, and Dunedin.

At Six Tables, your table setting is very special along with the atmosphere and music. Real crystal, crisp linens, and unique china is set at each table along with soft jazz melodies and candles. Once everyone is seated, the owner and chef, Jon, welcomes you to the dining experience and explains the menu and the dining technique. CiCi helps pour the welcome blanc de blanc champagne that everyone rescieves upon arrival. There are other wines that can be ordered from their selected wine menu as well for dinner.

I ate at Six Tables with my husband to celebrate our third wedding anniversary this past weekend. It was so nice and really made our weekend celebration special.  We were treated very special. The welcome champagne is served with gourgeres. The signature lobster bisque was full of lobster pieces. The homemade lavender herb bread was warm and delicious. For our main dish, I had the braised lamb legs and my husband had the chateaubriand. The presentations were unlike any that we have had recently. The poached pear and sample cheeses went well after the main dish. We had a blueberry custard dessert that was very sweet and soothing with coffee. The whole meal left a good taste in our mouths.

I highly recommend trying Six Tables for a different and special dining experience. Looking forward to returning to Six Tables for many more occasions to come. Outback Steakhouse is best known for their grilled steaks, chicken, and seafood dishes. They also offer salads, soups, and appetizers.  New creations and grilled dishes are served fresh daily. There are many locations all over South Florida. It is a great place for families and parties.  Online ordering and crubside take-away ordering is available. There are two separate locations in Boca Raton alone. I was with a friend at the West Boca Raton location recently during the week on a Wednesday night around 8:00pm. It was not packed, but there were many tables filled. There is a bar on the right side. It has a casual atmosphere.

The menu is varied. There are now gluten-free dishes and Spanish dishes available as well. We ordered two appetizers to share and had one of their peach flavored specialty drinks called Wallaby Darned. The Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp was good and so was the Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas. Many of their portions are large enough for two people to share. We also had their signature dark bread. Our server was very accommodating and also helped us in our appetizer decision.

Because there are always new and exciting additions to their menu, I look forward to coming back again soon and trying them.

If you are looking for a good neighborhood family Italian Restaurant with a variety of food and moderate pricing, you should try Rotelli’s.  There are many locations throughout South Florida. My husband and I went to the Central Boca Raton location listed above on a Saturday night. It was crowded at 7:00pm when we arrived. The service is prompt and the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. There are coupons online and ones that we received in the mail that can be used towards lunch or dinner there.

The menu is varied and includes seafood items as well. There are dinner specials for $9.99 daily and complete early bird dinners daily. The regular prices are moderate and the portions are generous. Each of us had a glass of house wine which was very good. We ordered a gorgonzola salad and a large pizza with spinach, extra cheese, and roasted red peppers. Everything was delicious and we had some pizza to bring home.

We will go back again to try their many dinner dishes soon.

Max’s Grille has a wide variety of food and wine. You may enjoy full entrees, sandwiches or tapas. Max’ Grille now serves breakfast.

On Friday, from 11:30am to 4:00 pm, $5 hamburgers are available.

If you are looking for a treat and half the fat of ice cream, you should try a gelato at The Gelato Shoppe da Petrini. It is a true Italian environment. The story behind the Gelato Shoppe da Petrini is that the Petrini family from Italy made this their dream in America.  They follow a long time tradition in culinary arts. The cafe is in a strip shopping center just west of the turnpike off of Glades Road and has been open for over three years. There are all natural pastries and gelato flavors in diary and non-dairy, which is in keeping with being kosher.  There are also Italian coffees and teas available. This cafe has the only Kosher Gelatos in the Boca Raton area. Gelatos and sorbets have a cool feeling and are lighter tasting than ice cream. Gelatos can be made out of fruits as well. There are no trans-fats or artificial flavors or ingredients.

I stopped in there with a friend of mine late on a Friday afternoon. We both combined two flavors of gelato and really enjoyed it very much! I had the peanut butter and the chocolate. My friend had a peach and chocolate. The small cup is enough to get the smooth and refreshing taste.  As we were there, a family with young children came in.

For Mother’s Day, all mothers that stop in the shop can get a free small gelato of their choice. I am sure they will be very busy!

It is a different alternative to just a regular coffee shop. I recommend trying it for a healthy snack.

From 12:00pm to 4:00pm every day, P.F. Chang’s offers Lunch Bowls on their menu. You may choose from a variety of chicken, beef, shrimp, fish or vegetarian dishes. Each lunch bowl  is severed with a choice of brown or white rice, and egg drop or hot and sour soup. Today we had Sesame Chicken and Pepper Steak. The Sesame Chicken was excellent. It consisted of stir-fried chicken, broccoli, red peppers, onions and ginger in a sesame sauce. This lunch bowl item was $8.50. We also had Pepper Steak which was excellent. It consisted of  quickly cooked steak with red and green bell peppers, yellow onions, garlic and black pepper for $9.50.

After our main dish, we enjoyed the mini desserts, chocolate cake with berry sauce and a cheese cake for $2.25 each.

We had a pot of a very tasty sweet ginger-peach tea with our meal, $2.50 for the two of us.

In addition to the Lunch Bowl items, other great deals are the Happy Hour specials from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  Discounted small plates and drinks are served.

We dined from 3:00 to 3:45 pm and there were plenty of people in the restaurant. According to our waitress, during the dinner hour there is a long wait for those without a reservation.
