http://www.5-spice.com

5 -Spice has a nice casual atmosphere and is a great place for a moderate lunch or dinner. It is a convenient place for business professionals working in the area to have a healthy meal. 5 Spice also has catering, delivery, and takeout services available. They are located in a outside shopping mall off of Yamato Road just west of I-95.

5-Spice Asian Street Market wants to bring to America hidden culinary treasures from different regions of Asia with uncompromising authenticity and quality, in a warm and inviting atmosphere capturing the essence of the street markets of the Far East. It is important to 5-Spice to serve well-balanced foods, healthy enough to leave you full of energy, spicy enough to harmonize with your body, and tasty enough to keep you returning time and time again.

My husband and I went to 5-Spice for lunch during the week and it was busy. The menu is varied and the portions are large. The food is fresh and tasty. I ordered the half-pound chicken flame-roasted meal and my husband ordered the half-pound duck flame-roasted meal. Both meals come with two sides and a spice roll. We also ordered their specialty bubble green tea. It was nice and smooth. I had never had it before.

Next time I will want to try the noodle soup bowls and the rice bowls. 5-Spice is great for ordering larger family meals as well. There is also a separate kids menu. I would recommend trying this restaurant for a different experience. Looking forward to returning again soon for lunch or for dinner.

From 12:00pm to 4:00pm every day, P.F. Chang’s offers Lunch Bowls on their menu. You may choose from a variety of chicken, beef, shrimp, fish or vegetarian dishes. Each lunch bowl is severed with a choice of brown or white rice, and egg drop or hot and sour soup. Today we had Sesame Chicken and Pepper Steak. The Sesame Chicken was excellent. It consisted of stir-fried chicken, broccoli, red peppers, onions and ginger in a sesame sauce. This lunch bowl item was $8.50. We also had Pepper Steak which was excellent. It consisted of quickly cooked steak with red and green bell peppers, yellow onions, garlic and black pepper for $9.50.

After our main dish, we enjoyed the mini desserts, chocolate cake with berry sauce and a cheese cake for $2.25 each.

We had a pot of a very tasty sweet ginger-peach tea with our meal, $2.50 for the two of us.

In addition to the Lunch Bowl items, other great deals are the Happy Hour specials from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Discounted small plates and drinks are served.

We dined from 3:00 to 3:45 pm and there were plenty of people in the restaurant. According to our waitress, during the dinner hour there is a long wait for those without a reservation.

A few months ago we did a review of our meal at the Sunrise location which can be found at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro Sunrise, Florida Review

It has a unique flavor and is served with condensed milk which makes it very rich.

The decor is cheeful, nice and simple. There is outside seating.

The restaurant is reasonably priced when using a discount coupon. Our meal for two with tax and tip was about $45.

Hunan Gardens Chinese restaurant is located in Delray Beach just north of Boca Raton at the southeast corner of Linton Blvd and Atlantic Ave in the Boca Ray Plaza. There food is high-quality. Beef is choice; seafood and vegetables are fresh. The restaurant is consistently excellent. You may dine in, take out, or order for delivery.

Some dishes that we have enjoyed are the wonton soup, bbq ribs, shrimp with garden vegetables, duck, Mongolian beef, green pepper steak, mu shu pork, Hunan beef, chicken with broccoli and chicken with cashew nuts. We enjoyed the brown rice and friend rice.

The wonton soup is exceptional with wontons, Chinese vegtables and strips of pork. BBQ ribs are served as an appetizer or main dish. The shrimp with garden vegetables was cooked just right. The beef and chicken dishes have a wonderful flavor, as excellent quality ingredients are used.

The restaurant is popular with seniors, but people of all ages enjoy the food. The pistachio or vanilla ice cream for dessert has a great texture and taste. Fortune cookies are included.

Delivery is often quick.

In P.F. Chang’s locations you are surrounded by American and Chinese culture. If you want to eat healthy or not, P.F. Chang’s has a variety for you to choose from on their menu. Their lunch bowls are economical and filling. I would suggest trying something that you have not had before and you will love it! I met some friends there on Sunday for lunch and because we had ten people, we decided to order family style and share different platters. We started with wonton soup and appetizers. Then we ordered three different dishes to share such as mongolian beef, vegetables with lo mein, and my favorite, baby shrimp with walnuts and melon balls. It was delicious! The Asian and Chinese dishes are easy to digest and do not give you that heavy uncomfortable feeling. Some people had wine and I had the honey ginger decaffeinated green tea that I usually order. P.F. Chang’s has a wine creation that is called Vineyard 518 which is a “green” concept with earth-friendly packaging. For dessert we ordered two larger desserts to share. One was a chocolate fudge preparation and the other one was a fried banana and ice cream creation. Both were rich, filling, and delicious! Our service was efficient and friendly. The waitress seemed to have a lot of patience with a large group ordering so much food. The restaurant was crowded and has an upbeat atmosphere. It did happen to be a weekend in the middle of the holiday season at a large upper scale discount mall. They offer online ordering and pick-up as well. Reservations can be made online or by phone. Great place for parties. With a Warrior Card there are various discounts offered during the year. Most major credit cards are accepted. I have been to other P.F. Chang’s for lunch and for dinner and always enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. I look forward to going there again soon to try even more dishes.

We ordered the Japanese Teriyaki rice bowl with beef, sweet soy glaze, onions, Napa cabbage, carrots, spinach, scallions, toasted sesame seeds, and brown steamed rice. The menu offers a choice of beef, chicken, vegetables and tofu, or for an extra dollar, shrimp. You may choose either white or brown steamed rice. Our choice was full of flavor. The combination of ingredients gave the beef and the brown rice an excellent taste. The scallions and beef are a great combination. For $6.95 this was a filling lunch, but we were not too full. A fortune cookie was included. The only additional item we ordered was a cup of freshly brewed tea. They have several varieties to choose from.

At Pei Wei orders are placed at the counter and servers quickly bring the cooked-to-order food to the table. Pei Wei bridges the gap between fast food and full-service restaurants.

Pei Wei has two locations in Boca Raton and many more throughout the United States. We dined at the one in West Boca. For menu, locations and other information, please visit their website at peiwei.com.

We ate at Yama Japanese Restaurant in Delray Beach on November 27, 2010, during the Downtown Delray Beach Art Fair. Although the lunch special normally ends at 2:30pm, it was extended. We enjoyed the salmon / cream cheese roll, eel roll and miso soup, all for ten dollars. The sushi was very fresh. We watched the festival goers stroll by. Service was excellent.

They have a variety of items for the lunch specials. Although the menu said “Summer Specials,” they were being served at the end of November. The restaurant is located in the Pineapple Grove area of Delray Beach at

Pai Wei (pronounced “Pay Way”) is a subsidiary of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and was originally launched in July 2000 as a vehicle for them with many locations. They have consistently flavorful dishes from China, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. Their dishes are made-to-order featuring authentic Mandarin-style wok cooking in an exhibition kitchen. Pai Wei has a similar look and feel of P.F. Chang’s, but more casual and convenient for everyday dining. Their varied menu is available for eat-in as well as take-out and is moderately priced. They take most major credit cards. This is a great alternative for local business people or others on the go who want a quick meal.

I ate at Pai Wei in Plantation for the first time about a week ago with my son and really enjoyed it. It was not very crowded when we first got there at 5:45pm on a Thursday night, but by the time we left, there was a medium-size line that moved quickly. Once you order and pay, the waiters bring your food and drinks to your table. The cashier taking our order was helpful and fast. Our service was prompt and efficient. I ordered hot and sour soup which was tasty and fresh. My son had a spicy chicken dish that also looked and tasted delicious. Portions are generous much like they are at P.F. Chang’s. I would recommend trying Pai Wei for lunch or dinner and I look forward to going back there again soon.

My husband and I ate there recently for dinner on a Friday night around 7:00pm and had great tasting sushi that was fresh, generous portions, and friendly and prompt service. We ordered from the “summer specials” menu and each had a complete dinner for $15.99! I started out with delicious crab miso soup, sushi sampler, chicken teriyaki, and a huge green tea ice cream that I could not finish. My husband had the same as me, except his main dish was duck. The main dishes were good, but the sushi sampler was the best. The restaurant seemed to fill up later at night as we were leaving. I would recommend trying Fuji for lunch or dinner and we look forward to going back there soon.
